The Time Capsule Waterpark and Ice Rink
Are you ready for the Tornado Tantrum? Ride the 10m high Storm Chasers, Thunder and Lightning, with their amazing twisting twin flumes then test your strength and endurance in the Tsunami wave pool. Get drenched under the huge tipping bucket on Splashdown Island or float down Riptide River, a lazy river with a rapid ending. For families with younger children and tiny tots we offer the sanctuary of Cove Island, a sheltered area where parents and little ones can splash and enjoy the water at a more leisurely pace. Our waterpark offers the best waterslides around and is equal amounts of fun for adults and kids alike! There's so much going on so come along and make a Splash! There's also a 25m swimming pool for those who like just a splash on their own.
M&D Scotlands Theme Park
A theme park with thrill rides for all ages. The rides are height specific (like most theme parks). The park has a lot on offer for kids, family rides and thrill rides. There are also additional attractions within the park (there may be an additional cost for these) Amazonia , Cosmic Bowl 10 pin bowling, Devil’s Island Adventure Golf, Diamond Lil’s, Game Zone , Krazy Congo Soft Play.
Scottish Owl Centre
The S.O.C. is not a falconry centre. We specialise in owls rather than raptors, because we want to portray their unique charisma and charm, which is often eclipsed beside the more dramatic hawks and falcons. We believe they are also excellent environmental educators.
Our motto, ‘Education, Inspiration, Conservation’, reflects the hope that by bringing people face-to-face with owls in all their beauty and by increasing public knowledge of the environmental issues which affect their survival, we will inspire greater interest in the wider conservation concerns of our world today.
As well as educating the public and breeding owls to increase the population of vulnerable species, we are also involved in 3 specific areas of owl conservation.
Kintyre Barn Owls
Glasgow Science Centre really is a blast – no wonder it’s one of Scotland’s favourite visitor attractions. There’s a bunch of stuff to see and do here – there’s hundreds of interactive exhibits in the Science Mall, a Planetarium, Scotland’s biggest-screen IMAX cinema, a Science Show Theatre, a fantastic cafe and a shop filled with goodies. If you’re out of puff reading about it, just imagine being here!
